2012/2013 Classes
Feb.6th through Feb.24th.
As you know, many of our classes fill up quickly. A large percentage of our classes for the 11/12 dance season were completely filled, with a waiting list, less than two weeks after our schedule was released in March. Since we want to give our current students first priority in choosing and enrolling for the next session, we allow them to sign up for priority enrollment.
Only students, siblings and those currently on waiting lists may sign up for Priority Enrollment (formerly known as pre-registration) for the 2012 summer session and 2012/13 dance year. Students who have completed the priority enrollment by the February 24th deadline, will be allowed to register for classes early - March 1st-15. This allows you first choice at your desired classes and guarantees the current 2011/12 rate plan. All students with priority enrollment who have completed registration and enrolled in classes for the 12/13 year by April 1st will be entered in a drawing to win one year of free dance classes (not to exceed $400.00) and will receive a 2012 AAD tee-shirt.
Our 2012/2013 schedule of classes and will be available by March 1st.
Registration will be open to everyone, including new students, beginning March 19th.
*Signing up for VIP Registration does not enroll your child in classes! It gives you the opportunity to enroll before everyone else and stay on your current rate plan if you are a current student.
Priority Registration students must complete enrollment form and pay enrollment fees between
March 1 & 15- in order to receive these benefits.
*The cost for VIP registration is $20/student; however, you pay no 12/13 enrollment fee.
This fee is non-refundable.
How do I sign up?
*Complete the attached Priority registration form and return to us by February 24th along with $20 or send us an email and we will notify you with further instructions. We will not accept pre-registration after February 24th.
How do I know what level to register for?
*When you sign up for Priority registration you are not actually registering for any specific class(es). You will be able to let us know certain days/class times/classes that you would be interested in. We will then take your requests into consideration when scheduling our classes. When enrollment begins on March 1st, we will have recommendations from each of our instructors for current student’s placement for the summer session and 12/13 dance year. These recommendations will be based on their age, ability, physical development, knowledge of the material and rate of progress throughout this year. You will be given a copy of the recommendation and an opportunity to schedule an appointment to meet with your child's instructor to discuss their progress and placement.
